Making History: 55 Km for Trans Visibility
On September 3rd, 2025 Lev Goldberg became the first openly transgender person to swim across Lake Ontario.
on august 5-6, 2026, Lev continued his journey to become the first trans person to swim across All Five Great Lakes, completing a 55 kilometer crossing of Lake Huron.
55km for Trans Visibility is more than a swim—it’s a statement about what’s possible. This historic crossing of each of the great lakes aims to increase transgender representation in outdoor sports while supporting vital resources for LGBTQ+ youth.
